Our journey began with Tim, who started his automotive career in 1999 as an apprentice with Alan Roe Automotive. Over 15 years, he fine-tuned his skills, even working as a head mechanic for a second-hand car dealership. Tim’s expertise was further honed during his three-year tenure as a senior tech at Mazda Shepperton. He was then poached back to Shepperton Auto Care for an additional three years before fulfilling his dream of opening Shepp City Automotive.

Wayne, our co-founder, began his journey as an apprentice at Alan Roe Automotive in 2002, where he crossed paths with Tim. Wayne’s career led him into the mining industry, where he worked on a range of diesel air compressors, excavators, pneumatic pumps, and more. After four years in mining, Wayne transitioned to a mobile mechanic, gaining valuable experience while working independently. He also managed his own farm, where he repaired everything from tractors to vehicles. Wayne later returned to Alan Roe for three years before joining forces with Tim to establish Shepp City Automotive.
